Ducky 13


Ducky 13 is the smallest catamaran in Ducky family.

The smallest model is suitable to introduce both children and adults to the fascinating world of sailing.

It is an ideal unit for active recreation on water, and completely safe even with minimal handling skills.

In the development of this catamaran the special attention was paid to make it’s construction simple and minimize number of parts used during the assembly. This enables Ducky 13 catamaran to be assembled within 20-30 minutes and without a single tool used!

The design features have no standing rigging. The catamaran has a free-standing mast which eliminates the possibility of the catamaran capsizing in a strong wind conditions. Letting go of the sheet is enough to let the sail act as a wind vane.

When you want to take a break and relax a little just remove the mast from it’s socket and you have a perfect sunbathing cot on your catamaran’s trampoline. The size of the trampoline: 1.8 x 1.8 m.

When disassembled and packed for transportation Ducky 13 fits into two bags: one 1.8 m long pack with 10 tube elements and another one 0.8 m long with floats, rudder, centerboard and sail.

As an extension an outboard engine of 2.2 PS capacity can be mounted on special transom board braced to stern seat.

The frame, mast and connecting units are made of anodized high quality aluminum alloy. Profiled centerboard and rudder of fiberglass reinforced plastic. Sail made of Dimension-Polyant dacron (170 g/m2). All fastening elements are made of stainless steel. Float cases of two sections made out of Valmex, special PVC boat fabric (1000 g/sq.m).
